RMES is a full-service regional civil engineering and surveying firm that provides engineering design and surveying, with in-house expertise that includes civil, environmental, transportation, planning, land development, and municipal engineering, as well as all types of surveying, mapping and construction staking and management. RMES is licensed in Idaho, North Dakota, Montana, Utah, Nevada, Wyoming, and Texas.
We are seeking a dynamic Engineer to join our team. This is a permanent full time position located in Pocatello, Idaho. Candidate must prepare general civil plans and specifications for a wide variety of projects, including municipal and rural water supply, treatment, and design; storm water system conveyance and control; grading and drainage improvements; roadway design; erosion and sediment control. Candidate will provide management for all phases of planning and construction of civil engineering projects such as site surveys, presentations and communications, budgets, scheduling, construction, and on-site observation and inspection. Specific duties include site evaluations and research; analyze and interpret data; ensure quality and compliance for clients; prepare models and analysis for stormwater, water systems and sewer systems; engineering support during construction; solve problems and interact effectively with regulatory agencies.

Position Requirements Include:
BS Degree in Engineering
Idaho PE license preferred, but an EI with at least 1-year experience may be considered
U.S. Drivers license and an insurable driving record.
Strong verbal/written communication skills and ability to work well both independently and on a team
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong AutoCAD Civil 3D knowledge and experience
