World Dining has immediate openings for full time help in a full service cafeteria, located at the NRF facility on the INL site, approximately 50 miles West of Blackfoot, 60 miles west of Idaho Falls. Position would be for day shift, M-F, no weekends or major holidays. Job is dependent on ability to pass federal background check.
Multi-tasking is a must in this job! Willing to train for position but food handling experience is a must. Additionally, you will help in other areas of the cafeteria, including helping customers as needed at the cash register, stocking and cleaning, some other food prep duties, washing dishes, sweeping and mopping floor, and filling ice in soda machine.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis.
Above everything else, looking for candidate who is honest, reliable, and committed to showing up to work on time every day, and getting the job done in a timely manner!
Reliable transportation is necessary. It is possible to ride the bus or carpool most days, but you must be able to get yourself to work if you miss a bus or your carpool buddy isn't available. Being dropped off isn't an option since the work site is approximately 10 miles past the first checkpoint that requires site clearance.
Applicant requirements:
Must be over 18 and able to pass extensive, federal background check
Must be a U.S. citizen
Experience in high volume restaurant or cafeteria is a bonus
Ability to work on their feet for extended periods of time
Able to sustain high-energy activities for extended periods of time
Able to life 50 pounds
Related training and/or job experience
Perform routine food service activities
Enjoys working with fellow team members
Must have good communication and interpersonal skills
Assist in ensuring a clean, safe and well-organized cafeteria
Follows food safety standards and guidelines
Attention to detail in food/service quality and cleanliness
Prefer applicant with experience working as a short order/grill cook in fast paced, high volume restaurant.

Compensation is $11/hour plus an additional $4/hr health and welfare stipend that can be applied toward health insurance (once you are eligible for benefits) or taken as additional income if you choose to opt out of the insurance offered.
