Floor Aide/Housekeeping

Compensation: To Be Determined based on Experience

A local 24/7 assisted living care facility located in Rigby; Idaho is looking for people who love to help people! We specialize in special needs residents including but not limited to those with mental illness, schizophrenia, alcoholism, and traumatic brain injury.

Our newly remodeled facility provides an excellent opportunity for those looking to transition from a restrictive environment and into the community. The average stay for our residents can range from a few months to life-long care. The facility is located in a country setting, yet provides daily access to day treatment programs, developmental therapy and transportation to other medical and counseling appointments. A seasoned and caring staff seeks to help all achieve a real sense of belonging and support to all residents.

The staff is trained in behavioral management, is medication certified, and works from the latest computerized meds pass system. The state licensed Administrator has years of experience and is truly dedicated to those they serve.

Position Duties/Responsibilities:

To provide and or assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).

Including but not limited to grooming, housekeeping, medications assistance and other support as needed for residents.

This dependable caring individual will assist the elderly and disabled in in our facility with daily activities.

Minimum Qualification Requirements (Education/Experience):

High school diploma or a GED certificate.

Must be physically able to perform the job which may include resident assistance and other light lifting duties.

Must be able to complete and pass a background check.

Successfully complete the required CPR and First Aid training.

License/Certification is preferred but not required

Must be able to work day/night shifts as needed (24/7 hour facility)

Special Requirements: Must have computer skills necessary to log and track ADLs, and medication passes using the in-house software.
