THE JOB:
This is a local sales position based out of your home office that includes a base salary plus uncapped monthly incentives, a quarterly bonus for hitting your quota, reimbursed business expenses, and a competitive benefits package.
Mailbox Merchants sells direct mail advertising to hundreds of retail clients including Arby's, Dish Network, Pizza Hut, Great Clips, Ace Hardware and many more. We have an opening for an Advertising Sales Account Representative in our Eastern Idaho market. In this position you will be the ONLY Mailbox Merchants sales person prospecting and managing accounts in the territory. You will sell our shared mail solutions to small and medium-sized businesses in categories such as, furniture, fitness, restaurant, hardware, grocery, auto service, and health and beauty.

As part of our Mailbox Merchant's sales team, you will join a company with over 20 years of success and stability in the advertising business. You will be supported by an experienced team of professionals located at our home office in Portland, Oregon and you will receive comprehensive training on how to sell our products and manage your territory. Additionally, all our reps are supplied with the best technology tools to allow you to be successful at your job, including iPhones and laptops.
THE REQUIREMENTS:
We want a sales person who has been successful in B2B sales, ideally in some sort of media or who has experience selling in the categories we sell to. The ideal candidate for this position will be a top sales performer who likes to work independently but with the support of a solid company behind them. This could also be a great opportunity for the "up and coming" sales pro, who is relatively new and ready to make the jump to a new career in a protected territory.
