CRI is hiring a Software Quality Control Specialist to review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback. You will liaise with internal teams (e.g., developers and product managers) to identify user stories. You must have experience with software quality assurance testing, strong knowledge of software quality assurance methodologies, tools, and processes. You need to have experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
Create, document, and perform test cases from user stories, and work in a testing automation framework, converting manual tests to automated tests.
Additionally, assist developers in releasing quality software by identifying, recording, and following issues found through testing. You will need to be able to quickly learn new applications and present them to customers, perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved and develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products.
REQUIREMENTS
Must be a United States Citizen.
1. Selenium or other acceptance level automation testing.
2. Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting.
3. Test case management and reporting.
4. Experience in Object Oriented development.
5. Must have experience with JavaScript.
Must have a Bachelor's degree in an IT related field and 3 years of experience or 5 years of experience in a related field. (Relevant education: Computer Science, Information Technology,
Must be able to obtain a HSPD-12 (Homeland Security Presidential Directive 12) badge within 6 months of starting position.
Must work at the Idaho National Laboratory location (no remote work under this procurement).
