Full time diesel engine mechanic needed at our Troutdale location. Must be able to independently perform basic and complex diagnostics, perform service repairs and maintenance on agricultural equipment and fleet vehicles including pickups and semi trucks. This position has a lot of diversity of associated tasks throughout the work day and week.
Duties include complex diagnostic and repairs on agricultural equipment, perform diagnostics and repairs in the field as required, remain current on service knowledge of John Deere and other agricultural equipment, maintain condition of vehicles and shop inventory tools and equipment, maintain a clean work area and work in a clean and orderly fashion, follow all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments, complete all reports and forms required in conjunction with work assignments, account for all time and material used in performing assigned duties, other tasks and duties as assigned.
