Candidate for this position is required to have at least 3 years of car/light truck physical damage estimating, repair and/or claims experience. We have been in business for 42 years and have a reputation for handling claims quickly and efficiently.
The Appraiser's responsibility is to perform auto appraisals in the field. This position requires primarily field work and estimates can be written from a home based office. Desirable candidates should have at least 3 years of prior repair and/or estimating experience, possess strong oral and written communication and customer service skills. The ideal candidate will be detail oriented with good organization skills. A working knowledge of the Mitchell and CCC One estimating programs and strong computer skills are a must. Travel in Eastern Idaho will be required but compensation is provided for mileage over 25 miles.
Appraisals must be completed within 48-72 hours of assignment but you choose when to schedule inspection and write the estimate. Great side hustle for someone with the right experience. Must be able to pass a background check.
