This position is a contract to hire position within 1 month if the candidate demonstrates the technical skills, soft skills, and cultural fit within Dry It Yourself Center. We are a retail/rental company that is growing and we feel the need to keep up with the web. Our Services include Rental and Retail of Restoration equipment, Carpet cleaning equipment, chemicals, tools, other services to help Pro's - or - Average Joe's. This is a full-time position.
We're seeking a Web Design / Developer to work with Shopify, Wordpress & Woocommerce systems. . This role will include working alongside an existing team of talented workers, maintaining a brick and mortar presence, maintaining various websites and contributing to the culture of Dry It Yourself Center.
Essential Skills and Responsibilities:
Knowledge and proficiency with WordPress.
Knowledge and proficiency with Adobe Photoshop.
Knowledge and proficiency with HTML/CSS.
Maintain and Enhance Internal and External WordPress Websites.
Build and publish content to WordPress and Content Management Platforms.
Build content in the form of HTML and Graphics packages for internal & external consumption.
Supplementary Skills and Responsibilities:
Knowledge and/or experience with PHP, preferably in conjunction with Laravel.
Knowledge and/or experience working with RDBMs: MySQL, MS SQL, Postgres etc.
Knowledge and/or experience working with Git and Docker in a development environment.
Knowledge and/or experience with JavaScript, preferably VueJS or Angular.
Contribute to existing software application projects.
Perform testing of web application software, engaging users as necessary.

must be self-motivated, detail-oriented and organized;
must be able to work independently and efficiently to meet expectations.
