Beef Northwest Feeders, a progressive cattle feeding operation, has an exciting opportunity for a Commodity Analyst at our Boardman, Oregon location. This person works closely with the Mill Supervisor, Yard Manager, Office Manager, and Risk Management department.
Job duties include:
- Responsible for tracking all incoming and outside sale commodities.
- Coordinating with Vendors, Farmers, and Risk Management on grain deliveries and needs
- Daily inputting of all Commodity and Feed Mill Sales tickets
- All accounts and commodity payables
- Daily, weekly, and monthly reporting
- Attend the commodity scale for commodity sampling and quality control
The ideal candidate will have strong problem solving and analytical skills; Excel skills; be organized and adaptable to a variety of customers. Bachelors degree in accounting, business, or related field preferred but not required (Experience may be substituted for education).
