Excel Transport a leader in wood residual product transport for the Inland Northwest, is looking for an experienced trucking industry dispatcher to join our growing team. Come grow with us!
Our Dispatchers act as the first point of contact with our drivers. Dispatchers are responsible for:
Data entry of load information
Route details
Schedules
Run reports
Entering billing information
This position will communicate directly with drivers to assign loads, plan routes, assist with questions.
A successful Dispatcher candidate will have the following skills:
Good communications
Good critical thinking to problem solve & create efficiencies
Ability to work independently, multi-task and handle a fast paced environment
Good customer relations
Experience in trucking industry dispatching and/or driver management
Good understanding of FMCSRs Hours of Service
Ability to learn and use software efficiently - Office
