ALLWEST is seeking a Quality Control Manager (QCM) for Federal Highway projects to ensure all activities on the project site are performed in compliance with Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) contract requirements. The QCM will act as a liaison between FHWA and subcontractors, major material suppliers, and structural and geotechnical services suppliers, to ensure that all testing is performed to specification, and project documentation is complete and compliant.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
At least one year experience managing quality control on highway construction projects.
Two to three years' experience as a construction project manager, superintendent, project engineer, resident engineer, foreman, construction inspector, or equivalent on highway construction projects.
The ability to read, understand, and oversee implementation of highway construction project documents.
Ability to prepare quality and accurate reports.
Proven ability to communicate with tact and diplomacy.
At all times represent ALLWEST in a professional manner with integrity.
DESIREABLE:
National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies (NICET) Level III certification or equivalent in highway construction or highway material.
This position is in support of a seasonal project located in the McCall, Idaho area with the potential for full-time regular employment based in our Lewiston, Idaho office.
