Employs large structured and unstructured data sets (Ex: speech analytics, social media listening, digital footprints, customer behavior, financial information, proprietary market research, secondary sources, etc.). Guides staff as they develop products with clients. Works closely with business management to understand their objectives and creates analytic solutions that provide strong value. Works from high level goals. Identifies existing internal data sources, defines mechanisms to collect new internal data, and identify needed external public and purchased data. Facilitates discussions to maximize value obtained from these data sources. Contributes to the development of data policies and practices, pertaining to data collection, data integrity, data governance, and data quality control. Performs other duties as required. Manages day to day activity of staff. Provides feedback on performance appraisals. Manages the development and training of staff. Advanced knowledge of the leading analytic languages and tools (Ex: Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS), R, Python, and Data Driven Documents in JavaScript (D3.JS). Able to integrate the tools to create commercial analytics packages. Advanced ability to facilitate user self-service of data exploration. Advanced interpersonal skills and ability to influence others. Advanced written, oral, and presentation skills. Advanced teamwork and collaboration skills and an ability to work well in a fast-paced environment requiring daily shifting of priorities. Advanced integrity with an uncompromising commitment to quality. Intermediate knowledge of finance and accounting principles as they apply to the firm.
