APPS of Spokane is currently looking for Independent Contractors that are skilled and trained in phlebotomy. The Independent Contractor would have the ability to work around other commitments such as family, other employment, or personal obligations. It is a family and school friendly independent position.

We are looking to contract with dependable, detail oriented medical professionals such as an RN, LPN, MA, or phlebotomist to work as independent 'MOBILE' insurance examiners. The Independent Contractor(s) will perform mobile life insurance exams at the client's home, or work. We are looking for multiple contractors to cover Lewiston, Grangeville and surrounding areas. Must have preferred skills. Do not send us your resume if you do not have all preferred skills. This is not a teaching position. We are looking for someone who has experience in the medical field.

Preferred skills include: proficient phlebotomy skills with at least 100 or more blood draws OUTSIDE of schooling within the last year, must be able to take manual blood pressures, EKG knowledge or experience is not required but preferred, dependable transportation (this is a mobile position), legible handwriting skills, basic computer skills as well as great telephone etiquette. MUST have access to emailing, printing, scanning, and faxing. Must enjoy working with people as position requires face to face contact on a daily basis. Pay is not a hourly rate, but a flat fee for services performed.

Flexible scheduling allows you to set your own hours - Appointments are available 7 days per week mostly day shift hours.

Requirements:

High School Diploma or (GED) Equivalent

-Must have 1 year of recent experience as a phlebotomist or other qualified medical background.

- Must be able to travel with a 30-mile radius of area assigned

- Must present current license, certification and medical training transcript

- Must have a valid driver's license, your own reliable transportation, and car insurance

- Must have personal access to the internet, telephone and scanner

- Must be organized and detail oriented

- Ideal candidates possess excellent interpersonal skills to interface with clients, administrative management skills with a high level of courtesy and professionalism
