MedTech Position
We are currently looking for a Part Time Med Tech. This is a day shift Saturday and Sundays . If you are looking for a friendly, fun, compassionate, and dedicated team; the Royal Plaza Assisted Living clinical team would be a good fit for you!
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Obtain report from day shift and read 24 hour log
Count narcotics with previous shift. Report any discrepancy to RN Supervisor.
Provide the assisted medication pass to residents as directed in Medication Administration
Record (MAR).
Obtain assigned monthly weights and vital signs.
Call residents for dinner and check on residents who do not answer or show up for meals.
Document changes, concerns, discharge, admissions in chart and on 24 hour log.
Give report to oncoming shift
HIPAA Competency -Maintains confidentiality of all resident/staff information
Communicates clearly and tactfully with residents and their families
Demonstrates ability to read, understand and follow individual resident care plans.
Maintains harmonious relationship with unit and co-workers, providing support and assistance to co-workers to ensure quality resident care.
Willing to TRAIN the right individual!
