Staff Development Coordinator (RN) Nurse and Infection Control Nurse GENERAL SUMMARY:
The Staff Development Coordinator is directly accountable to the Director of Nursing Services to administer, plan, develop, direct, evaluate and coordinate the facility nurse assistant training program and education programs implemented by this facility in accordance with current federal and state guidelines, and company policy. Responsible for the facility-wide orientation program. Supervises the clinical activities of all CNAs either directly or in collaboration with the shift nurses. Functions as a licensed nurse providing direct resident care when necessary. Is familiar with and complies with all company policies and procedures. Works cooperatively with employees at all levels in the facility and company. Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Staff Development Coordinator (RN) Nurse and Infection Control Nurse REQUIREMENTS:
RN license in State of employment
Experience supervising nursing assistants.
