Job Overview:

We are looking to employ an HR assistant with outstanding administrative and communication skills. An HR assistant is expected to be a conceptual thinker with superb organizational and time management skills. You must be reliable and should accurately follow instructions with the ability to multitask and acclimatize to a fast-paced environment.

To ensure success, HR assistants should display remarkable conflict management and decision-making skills with a solid understanding of employee relationships, staffing management, and payroll and benefits administration. Top candidates will be superb at problem-solving, efficient in scheduling, and precise in the recruitment process.

Job Responsibilities:

 Supports human resources processes by administering tests, scheduling appointments, conducting orientation, maintaining records and information.

 Substantiates applicants’ skills by administering and scoring tests.

 Schedules examinations by coordinating appointments.

 Welcomes new employees to the organization by conducting orientation.

 Provides payroll information by collecting time and attendance records.

 Submits employee data reports by assembling, preparing, and analyzing data.

 Maintains employee information by entering and updating employment and status-change data.

 Provides secretarial support by entering, formatting, and printing information.

 Organizes work.

 Answers the telephone, relays messages, and maintains equipment and supplies.

 Maintains employee confidence and protects operations by keeping human resource information confidential.

 Maintains quality service by following organization standards.

Work Hours, Pay & Benefits:

 Variable hours Monday through Friday and weekends. Eight to sixteen hours per week.

 Some holidays.

 Partial work from home possible after being well-established.

 On-the-job training.

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:

 Successful candidate must have an associate degree in HR or a related field (bachelor’s degree preferred)

 Candidate must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in an administrative role

 Candidate must have strong communication skills

 Candidate must be able to quickly resolve people’s problems

 Candidate must be familiar with database systems and common HR applications
