Job Overview:
We are looking to employ an HR assistant with outstanding administrative and communication skills. An HR assistant is expected to be a conceptual thinker with superb organizational and time management skills. You must be reliable and should accurately follow instructions with the ability to multitask and acclimatize to a fast-paced environment.
To ensure success, HR assistants should display remarkable conflict management and decision-making skills with a solid understanding of employee relationships, staffing management, and payroll and benefits administration. Top candidates will be superb at problem-solving, efficient in scheduling, and precise in the recruitment process.
Job Responsibilities:
Supports human resources processes by administering tests, scheduling appointments, conducting orientation, maintaining records and information.
Substantiates applicants’ skills by administering and scoring tests.
Schedules examinations by coordinating appointments.
Welcomes new employees to the organization by conducting orientation.
Provides payroll information by collecting time and attendance records.
Submits employee data reports by assembling, preparing, and analyzing data.
Maintains employee information by entering and updating employment and status-change data.
Provides secretarial support by entering, formatting, and printing information.
Organizes work.
Answers the telephone, relays messages, and maintains equipment and supplies.
Maintains employee confidence and protects operations by keeping human resource information confidential.
Maintains quality service by following organization standards.
Work Hours, Pay & Benefits:
Variable hours Monday through Friday and weekends. Eight to sixteen hours per week.
Some holidays.
Partial work from home possible after being well-established.
On-the-job training.

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:
Successful candidate must have an associate degree in HR or a related field (bachelor’s degree preferred)
Candidate must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in an administrative role
Candidate must have strong communication skills
Candidate must be able to quickly resolve people’s problems
Candidate must be familiar with database systems and common HR applications
