We are a small family business located in Lewiston looking for someone who loves to work outside doing multiple agricultural projects. Work includes: maintenance of a 4 acre larch tree orchard, management and harvesting of a 1 acre fruit orchard, caring for a fairly decent sized vegetable garden, and other landscaping maintenance. Other odd jobs around the property will also need to be performed.
Ideally, we would love to find someone with previous ag experience that enjoys this type of work. Those that are retired from this field of work, and looking for part time work, are encouraged to apply. You must love caring for plants and trees, getting your hands dirty, working outside in all weather, doing odd jobs, and having flexibility to learn new skills.
Candidate must be able to lift 20 or more lbs and be able to work on his/her feet continuously throughout the day. Although someone with previous ag/orchard experience is desired, it is not necessary. Having experience with landscape plumbing and spray rig application is also a plus.
Pay is negotiable based on experience and skills.
