Salary based on experience and qualifications:Â $17.06 per hour.
Required Qualifications:
IT support experience with any organization
Ability to work multiple incidents and effectively manage resolution of tickets
Excellent oral/written communication and organization skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Apple Macintosh support experience with any organization
Formal training with Apple desktop hardware, operating systems, and applications.
Associate's degree from an accredited institute in a relevant discipline (information systems, computer science, etc.)
Experience with a Help Desk ticketing system such as KACE or Footprints.
Responsibilities: This position in the IT Department is operational in that it maintains Apple technology, but more importantly, it reinforces LCSC's employees as they deliver administrative, instructional, or research functions. As an Operations & Support Technician, you'll use your hands-on computer smarts to:
Investigate problems and provide technical solutions.
Manage upgrades of software and hardware.
Respond to requests from campus colleagues who are seeking guidance on technical issues.
Train fellow employees on the use of new hardware and software.
Test the latest, coolest new technology, and provide feedback to IT managers about potential campus applications.
