From your PASSION to oursThe Cutter is responsible for placing blocks of cheese into an automatic cutter machine. Maintains high quality and cleanliness to ensure the cheeses are not compromised or contaminated at any time during the process. Observes cutting machine operations to ensure quality and conformity of product to plant standards while assuming responsibility for the operational flow of the line.RequirementsFrom your EXPERTISE to oursKey responsibilities for this position include:· Lifts and places blocks of cheese on table lift to be cut.· Removes any cheese that does not meet product specifications and places in rework bin.· Observes and maintains cutter operation for even flow of product.· Interact with associates to maintain efficient process flow.· Maintain open line of communication with all the line workers and supervisor.· Perform sanitation duties as assigned.· Report Problems and/or concerns to the on-duty supervisor· Attend departmental meetings and training as assigned.· Apply the safety rules and ensure they are implemented and followed.· Take necessary measures if people are performing unsafe acts or are in an unsafe environment.From your STORY to oursQualified applicants will contribute the following:Education· High School Diploma or GED preferred but not required.Experience· No experience required, experience in general cleaning, chemical handling and customer service preferred.
