The RN is expected to exercise competency in judgment, decision making, implementation of nursing intervention, delegation of function or responsibility, and administration of medications and treatments prescribed by legally authorized persons.We are looking to hire a Registered Nurse for our Medical unit in Nampa! This position will be located at our Beautiful Campus on Flamingo Ave.As an RN at Saint Alphonsus Health System, you will provide hands-on patient care while collaborating with colleagues, maintaining accurate documentation, and utilizing resources wisely. You will serve as a patient advocate by promoting their physical, spiritual, and emotional well-being. You will also be expected to educate patients, administer prescribed medications and treatments, and develop care plans based on patient needs.About this Position: RN's working on the Medical unit will care for adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients. It is a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with strong leadership and great opportunities for career growth and advanced training. Demonstrated team, analysis, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Intermediate computer skills including medical record keeping
Ability to work with a wide variety of people under adverse conditions
Education:
Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
License/Certification:
Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Idaho
American Heart Association Basic Life Support for HealthCare Provider (BLS/HCP) certification
American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support Provider (ACLS) certification required within one year of hire
