This position leads a
group of global business units focused on energy efficient solutions for
Industry 4.0, Medical Imaging, and Military/Aerospace markets, as well as the
Company’s foundry service offerings.The Senior Director of
Integrated Industrial Solutions (IIS) is responsible for the P&L performance
of a substantial BU. As such, this
leader is responsible and accountable for:
Preparation andexecution of annual and 3 year strategy including financial plans ($250Mannually), business and product development goals, market share goals, etc.
Preparation of grossmargin plans and meeting quarterly gross margin targets.
Preparation of anOperating Expense budget for BU R&D, S&M, and G&A resources andmanaging spend levels to meet quarterly targets ($60M annually).
Partnering with CentralR&D on determining OPEX levels for technology and platform developmentcosts to support BU strategic initiatives.
Developing and executingstrategies to achieve annual and multi-year profitability targets.
We are looking for an
experienced, highly competent leader who is passionate about leading a strong
team and winning in the market place. Additional key responsibilities of
this role will be:
Create and execute strategy to be a leadingprovider of system solutions for Industry 4.0 markets and applications.
Perform market research,competitor analysis, and lead customer engagements to direct product definition.
Create product businesscases and comprehensive business plans for product lines and BU.
Manage and lead product development team forefficient chip and module solutions.
Drive chip and modulearchitecture choices to align with strategic customer needs.
Improve firmware basedsolutions to maximize ROI of R&D resources.
Drive collaboration withtest and product engineering to ensure quality of delivered product.
Interface with Corporate teams to maximizemindshare and support for IIS.
Sales alignment onstrategic accounts and competitor attack plans.
Legal support forcontracts and IP risk mitigation.
Global Supply Chain& Operations for capacity planning and demand fulfillment.
Finance support foranalysis and modeling to make strong business decisions.
Qualifications/Responsibilities:
Bachelor Degree 15 yearsindustry experience in semiconductors.
Marketing and ProductDevelopment background in semiconductor products is required, experiencein Industry 4.0 applications is a differentiator.
Demonstrated large, global teamleadership success (100 employees).
P&L management with over$200M in revenues and over $50M in OPEX required.
BS or MS in engineering isstrongly preferred, MBA is desired.
Preferred location for positionis in Pocatello, ID.
