Living by these virtues, we pride ourselves on exceptional service and the highest quality of care.Job Description Details:We are looking to hire a Full Time Patient Service Representative in Boise at our Wound Care Clinic!About this clinic: At Saint Alphonsus Wound Care we treat the whole person with an individualized plan that radically speeds the healing of wounds. Since most non-healing, chronic wounds involve complications, we take a comprehensive and personalized approach in planning each patient's treatment. We work with you to determine, manage and treat any underlying medical conditions, which will help you to heal faster and more completely.As a Patient Service Representative at the Wound Care Clinic, you will play a significant part in creating a great experience for patients and their families! The Patient Service Representative will work in partnership with our physicians and clinical staff to take care of patients’ administrative needs. You will be responsible for checking in patients for appointments, collecting patient co-pays, answering telephones, taking accurate messages, scheduling appointments, and checking insurance eligibility. You will also need to be comfortable using our electronic medical record to update required information.Our ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast paced work environment while providing a high quality customer service experience to our patients. He or she will also need to utilize excellent communication skills while communicating with patients and families and other colleagues. He or she will also have prior work experience in a medical setting. The ability to provide superior customer service will be essential in this position.General Requirements:

Prior customer service experience

Basic understanding of the core Microsoft Suite offerings

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior work experience in a medical setting with exposure to medical terminology and terms
