Duties & Responsibilities:
Prepare patient for dental treatment by welcoming, comforting and seating
Sterilize and deliver instruments to treatment area.
Educate patients on oral hygiene, explain recommendations and discuss postoperative instructions.
Set up operatories and ensure that instruments, supplies, and equipment are immediately available for patient care.
Follow HIPPA guidelines.
Chairside assist the Dentist and assist with office tasks as needed.
Assist in ordering dental supplies
Skills and Abilities:
Dental Assisting experience required
Ability to communicate effectively and clearly in both oral and written communication form.
Computer literacy
Skilled at relationship building in a professional setting.
Ability to be organized and detail oriented.
Desire and ability to provide excellent patient care
Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
Ability to demonstrate genuine compassion and a true desire to help patients.
Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
