Seed Care Division: Service/Facility Manager
Our Seed Care business is expanding! We are looking to add to our Southern Idaho team with an individual who has ag or industrial facility experience and is looking for a rewarding career in the seed care industry.
McGregor Seed Care serves commercial seed conditioners with the most experienced team in the West. McGregor Seed care touches nearly every annual crop grown in the greater northwest; providing seed-applied insecticide, fungicide, and nutrient needs for healthy roots and maximum yields.
Main Duties:
Customer Service: Interact with customers on the phone and in person who are placing product orders and requesting information, coordinate deliveries to customers
Bookkeeping: Process branch paperwork for invoicing, shipping documentation, and inventory control
Custom Blending of Seed Treatments: Process product requests and custom blend orders, organize and track shuttle containers
Safety: Oversee safety program for facility personnel, equipment, and operational processes
Internal Communication: Maintain proactive communication with Seed Care Division Manager, Central Distribution Manager, and the entire Seed Care Team
Required Skills & Behavior Traits
EDUCATION: (Degrees, Certifications, Licenses, etc.)
o 2-year degree in industrial maintenance or agricultural related discipline or equivalent experience preferred
o Idaho State Professional Application license with required endorsements or ability to obtain
o CDL drivers license: Class B with Hazmat endorsement or ability to obtain within 1 year of employment
KNOWLEDGE: (Competencies, Equipment, Systems)
o Knowledge of agricultural equipment and basic mechanics, forklift operation preferred
o Excellent organizational, written, and communication skills
o Proficient computer skills; ability to operate in MS Office programs
