LevelCon is seeking a part time field service tech to perform ongoing maintenance, both preventative and repairs to our remote tank level telemetry systems in the NV area, primarily with in the Mining operations.

Technicians will visit various mine sites to replace batteries, sensors and monitors for some 100 monitors for fuel, lube and chemical tanks across several Newmont Mine Operations including - Carlin North and South Ops, Portal Mines, Exodus, Lone Tree, Twin Creeks, Emigrant, etc.

This job will require climbing on tall tanks and horizontal tanks, utilization of ladders, and potentially a man lift (only where allowed and accompanied by a mine Rep) work tools, utilization of PPE and other safety gear and all certifications for MSHA and site specific certifications.

Skills/ Duties/ Materials:

Dependable and attention to detail.

Low voltage electrical (0-24v) - Batteries, communication wire, etc. no high voltage experience required.

MSHA required- Covered by LevelCon

PPE Required- Covered by LevelCon

Tools- provided by technician: Assortment of screwdrivers, volt meter, wire strips, pipe wrenches, leatherman, crimping tool, etc.

Hours- Only during open mine hours. Technicians can work on weekend and evenings.

Technicians will be paid hourly for travel and on site work. Technicians will work with a LevelCon support rep and will report all hours and expenses to said rep. Technicians will earn an introductory pay per hour to be increased after 45 days or 10 of satisfactory completed assignments, whichever comes first. Travel expenses will be calculated using Google Maps.

All expenses are covered by LevelCon including but not limited to, food allowance, travel allowance (rental or miles) gas, consumable materials (zip ties, tank fittings, batteries, etc).

Technicians will be subject to a performance review every 6 months.
