Ida Ore Zeolite is looking for a Bagging Line Operator for our Zeolite plant. Candidates with bagging or packaging experience are preferred but not essential. Successful candidates will work an 8-10 hour schedule. Candidates will be eligible for a standard hourly rate and overtime wages. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operate semi-automated bagging and packaging equipment.
- Filling, sealing, and pallet stacking bags.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and loaders.
- Cleaning of material bins and areas associated with the line.
- Responsible for fulfilling various production duties, operating several different stations, and meeting company requirements to reach performance goals.
Must be able to repeatedly lift up to 50 LBS every day, able to stand for long periods of time, and reach, climb, and bend without restrictions.
This position is fast-paced and attention to detail is required.
Qualifications:
- Must have the ability to communicate effectively with all fellow employees and production supervisor. Competency in English is required, bilingual is a plus.
- Must be able to read safety manuals and receive training to become MSHA certified.
- Must be available for overtime.
- Minimum of one 1 year in an industrial setting experience preferred.
