Agricultural equipment supplier in Jerome County, Idaho is seeking a full-time or part-time inside/outside sales representative responsible for meeting and interacting with new potential customers in the local farming and dairy community. The representative will be required to interact with potential customers in the local area, in a vehicle provided by the company, and must have a valid drivers license with an acceptable driving record. The applicant must be able to lift and carry smaller equipment or parts while helping load or hooking up the equipment for transport. The representative will be required to learn the manufacturers recommended operational procedures and explain the operational requirements to the customers. A commitment to hard work, potentially extended hours in order to nurture or maintain customer satisfaction is an expectation for this position.
Qualifications:
Self-motivated and can proficiently work on their own without constant supervision.
General knowledge of the farmers and dairies in the surrounding area.
Excellent people and communication skills.
General knowledge of commodity moving and storage equipment.
Be willing to work mostly normal workday hours but be flexible to meet the customers needs.
Thrive in an environment that requires working independently.
Compensation:
Hourly base pay plus commission on all equipment sold.
