United States of America - Illinois, AngelaJob SummaryThe Corporate Market practice, part of AECOM's Buildings + Places, is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Interior Designer II/Architectural Designer II for immediate employment in our Chicago, Illinois office.The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

As part of a team, create an develop design and technical solutions in response to client needs.

Preparing designs, renderings, sketches, diagrams, schematic drawings and working drawings to illustrate design solutions.

Developing and documenting details to communicate design intent.

Developing, adapting, or modifying design features and details under the direction of a project manager, project designer, or project architect.

Selection and specification of finish materials and furniture.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or Architecture and 2+ years of related experience or a demonstrated equivalency of experience/education

Preferred Qualifications

Revit Architecture software experience

Knowledge of 3D computer modeling including Sketch-Up, Rhino, or similar programs is important, along with basic Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office capabilities.

Intermediate design and production skills.

Knowledge of project design and construction document production, standard construction techniques and principles.

Corporate Workplace experience desired.

Working knowledge of all phases and aspects of Corporate Workplace projects.

Sustainability, resiliency, and/or climate adaptation experience a plus, but not a requirement.

Certification as an Interior Designer or professional registration as an Architect is a plus.

Effective communication skills.

Ability to work in a team environment.
