Our team of IT managers, analysts, specialists and service desk technicians drive innovation and lend their expertise to our people across the entire company, building careers that are both challenging and rewarding.As an IT Manager of the Finance & Administration team, you will report to the Director of National IT. In collaboration with global partners and colleagues, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations and continuous improvement of ALDI’s Finance & Administration solutions and initiatives serving the U.S. business. The ideal candidate for this role will be a personnel and technical leader that is comfortable discussing finance and administration related information with peers, staff, and executive management. You will inherit an already established team, where you will be responsible for mentoring, coaching and continuously developing these IT professionals. Your team will be responsible for providing and supporting the IT solutions that control various aspects of the financial operations of the business, including budgeting, business planning, accounting, taxes, and ensuring financial records are accurate. The IT Finance and Administration team will be responsible for financial software migrations, integrations, and upgrades. Additionally, ALDI looks to incorporate SAP tools into our real estate planning, accounts payable and investment management systems. The IT Manager will need to be a champion of new solutions within the area. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator with aptitude in leading a team and developing strong relationships with internal business customers. As ALDI continues to grow and aggressively expand operations, we are looking for someone that wants to be part of a collaborative team where your leadership, managerial, and technical expertise matters.Position Type: Full-TimeDuties and Responsibilities:Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation. Assists in communicating and modeling the overarching company strategy and core values of the organization to create a proper work environment and sense of teamwork among employees. Assures compliance with established IT policies and procedures. Establishes professional relationships and continuously monitors customer satisfaction. Works with team in developing and recommending action plans that will improve operating results. Manages project issues and risks and reviews the associated impact to project scope, timelines, resources and overall management of projects to ensure project objectives are achieved. Manages the testing, training, rollout and support for internationally developed programs and IT systems; additionally the development for national programs and IT systems. Defines the tasks dealing with IT Finance and Administration systems that meet deliverables set by leadership, established resources, schedule deadlines meeting technical needs for evaluation, and manages the coordination and completion of all projects and operations in their assigned area. Makes recommendations to improve IT policies and procedures. Evaluates and recommends the use of off-the-shelf or custom developed software. Serves as a communication liaison between employees and upper management to ensure understanding of company goals, objectives and opportunities for improvement. In addition, communicates with Director of National IT as appropriate. Champions a positive demeanor, inspires and motivates at various levels of the organization. Other duties as assigned.Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 5 years progressive IT experience. A combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge. Experience in working with multiple & senior level executives. Excellent understanding of the balance of scope, timeline, and budget. Proven experience in handling escalations, resolving conflict, and navigating organizational process. 3 years’ experience managing the support, integration, and delivery of SAP financial application solutions is preferred. Experience with ERP implementation, conversion, migrations, and landscape transformation is preferred.Job Qualifications:Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Knowledge of business system environments and integration; ability to understand overall data flow from user specifications considering all input and output, hardware, software, and the operating environment. Ability to define specifications from user requirements. Skill of preparing written materials such as documentation, presentations, proposals, correspondence and reports to meet purpose and audience (attention to detail). Ability to develop and maintain positive relationships and work cooperatively with internal customers, external vendors, and suppliers. Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with a group of individuals to make the work of the group successful and effective.Travel: Limited travel necessary during training. 1-2 weeks international travel. 1-2 weeks domestic travel.
