- Bridge the gaps between IT and Business Operations by accelerating intelligent automation maturity, increasing IT and Business collaboration, and ensuring that Pega is leveraged in the right way alongside all other enterprise technologies.
- Support centralization and formalize the housing and reuse of code.
- Promote standard methodologies, tools, and education.
- Integrate process re-engineering, tools, and education.
- Integrate process re-engineering and continuous improvement into projects.
- Drive expertise to ensure successful deployment of Pega by eliminating work done in silos without enterprise-wide standards, ensuring the realization of business benefits, and enabling the retention of knowledge and expertise.
- Share documented best practices and standardized governance models.
- Improve the experience of all project stakeholders.
- Lead the business team in gathering requirements and choosing the best way to implement requirements leveraging the Pega System software and Agile methods
- Interface directly with the client teams and internal teams to deliver business process flow and user interfaces requirements like graphical user interfaces, screen and interface mock-ups
- Good understanding of design, business rules and architecture around an enterprise multi-tier application customer facing system
- Familiarity working with technical design documents and functional design documents
- Proactively supports on shore and offshore technology professionals to deliver high quality products with minimal defects across software development phases (design, development, testing, implementation, quality control and project management)
- Design and configure rules and flows and assist with the draft user interface and draft process flow development
- Communicate technical concepts, problems, and solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Work with business and solution architect on requirements to develop architecture solutions
- Keep accurate record of material used, expected deliverables, and milestones achieved
- Identify and mitigate existing business risk or risks associated with solution architecture
- Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Pega LBA
- Pega Certified Business Architect is required
- Strong understanding of Pega - at least v8.5 concepts
- Working experience in a Kanban/Scrum environment
- Experience with designing and implementing insurances claims system and/or collections applications
- Design, Development, Testing and Implementation experience with application technologies, Business Process Management, web services (Frameworks), databases (MS SQL), cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and associated technologies (REST, etc.)
- Excellent interpersonal, business communication and writing skills
- Capable of technical troubleshooting and problem solving
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing, and sometime ambiguous environment
- Detail-oriented and Customer service focused
- Min BS Degree with min of 10 years work experience
- Experience with designing and implementing insurances claims system and/or collections applications
- Experience in Subrogation or Collection is a plus
- Good design and capability knowledge of Pega Decision Hub/AI components is a plus
- Pega System Architect Certified is a Plus
- Experience with Microsoft DevOps is a plus
- Experience with Microsoft Teams is a plus
