Responsibilities

Who We Are Looking For:

We are looking for a researcher who is passionate about understanding how consumers think, feel and act in the insurance and financial services space. The ideal candidate would have advanced quantitative skills, such as being able to create surveys and analyze quantitative data in creative ways. Technical skills are important but being able to communicate well and visualize your findings to create impact are also key.

Our Team:

This position is to join the Customer Insights & Measurement (CIM) Team. The CIM team is a strong group of 30 researchers, statisticians, and analysts that focus on planning, executing, analyzing, and sharing research that provides actionable insights about the customer experience. Those insights are used by various business partners across the company so they can make data-driven decisions. Come join a research team that takes its work seriously but has fun along the way. As a Customer Experience Researcher on the CIM Team, you will:
  • Work with internal business partners to understand research needs and develop/execute research efforts to support those needs.
  • Execute new primary quantitative research to understand customer needs/expectations and improve the customer experience.
  • Perform statistical analyses on various data sets to explain customer behavior.
  • Communicate complex analyses and insights in a simple and actionable way to business partners; develop creative and immersive ways to help business partners take data from insights to action.
  • Collaborate within a fast-paced team, manage multiple projects simultaneously, think outside the box, and constantly focus on developing yourself and your skills.

Qualifications

  • MS or PhD degree in a research-related field like Psychology, Statistics, Data Science, Consumer Behavior, Marketing Research, Economics, or Marketing is preferred.
  • Preferred 3+ years of experience in generating customer insights through research (research conducted in an industry setting is preferred).
  • Experience scoping, designing, and conducting quantitative research.
  • Experience manipulating and analyzing structured and unstructured data using tools such as R, SPSS, SAS, Python, or Qualtrics; data visualization experience necessary.
  • Experience delivering customer insights that lead to actionable recommendations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
