Responsibilities

This position is for passionate and driven individuals who possess a research and technology-oriented skillset. You will play a key part in driving out strategy and fulfilling leadership requests to drive decisions based upon on data collected from customers, agents, and associates.

This is a Research Systems Analyst position working on the Research Enablement Team (RET) within Enterprise Research and is responsible for the delivery of solutions, service support and data integration of technology solutions to aid in tracking, data management, presentation/reporting, along with trending and analysis of sentiment expressed by customers, agents, and associates.

Qualifications

As a Research Systems Analyst you will:
  • Performs system design, database design, application development, testing, implementation, documentation and support of software applications, predictive modeling, and/or data mining solutions addressing management information, business planning, statistical analysis, litigation support, and other decision-making analytical needs of clients
  • Creates, co-ordinates and communicates business processes, system changes, training, and procedures for department developed information systems
  • Expands and applies subject matter resource expertise on internal business operations, and relevant external sources, analytical and quantitative techniques, and existing and new technologies
  • Consults with clients throughout the enterprise to analyze their research and information needs and determines analytical requirements for system application and data processing solutions
  • Investigates, recommends, and initiates acquisition of new data resources from internal and external sources
The ideal candidate will have a practical knowledge of a variety of skills listed below, but not necessarily all.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues is a key competency/skillset for this position.
  • Practical knowledge of the following: -Research platforms including Medallia, LivingLens, Qualtrics, UserInterviews, and UserZoom

    -Scripting languages including Python, JavaScript, and shell

    -Big Data technologies including Hadoop (Hive, Hue, HBase, Impala, Spark-Scala, YARN) and -AWS (Athena, Glue, Redshift, S3)

    -Software Development languages including Java, C#, and integration with APIs (SOAP and REST)
