Responsibilities

Are you looking for a new experience with creating automation for tools being used by the Enterprise?

If so, take a look at this great opportunity!

You will be creating automation for the Application Performance Monitoring team in order to make self service and maintenance easier for our consumers. You will be part of a larger team, but the go to for automation.

Application Performance Monitoring team is a dynamic, self-organized team which specializes in IT Event Management capabilities for State Farm. Our purpose is to help our product teams achieve enhanced observability to the dependencies, performance, stability and resiliency of their applications/services.

We use multiple programming languages and technical stacks, including AWS. This allows us to work collaboratively and learn from each others diverse experiences. Our team deliver new/improved capabilities frequently and we see the benefits of our efforts quickly. We provide excellent opportunities for developers to grow both skills and competencies.

Qualifications

We are looking for an individual with these required skills:
  • Python/Java/Typscript/Go
  • Experienced with version control tools and CI/CD
  • Experience with AWS and hybrid environments

Additional desired skills:
  • Vault and Terraform experience
  • Experience with Application Performance monitoring and tools
  • Experience with managing and deploying Linux servers
