Office Location: State Farm Corporate office, Bloomington IL

Responsibilities

Overview:

The Enterprise Technology Department is seeking a Technology Analyst to work on our Salesforce Platform Operations team. This team is responsible for the administration of the Salesforce Sales and Service Cloud platform, the deployment of code to the platform, and the coordination of schedule code releases to the platform. We leverage Agile practices and seek to make life easier for our development team partners. This position provides support and coordination for 20 scheduled releases and 40-60 on-demand releases annually, working with 30+ development teams.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Acts as the primary liaison with business partners, vendors and/or Enterprise Technology for the implementation and support of internet, internal collaboration and HR&D technologies
  • Monitors effectiveness of current technologies and collaborates with business partners on ways to simplify, enhance, and improve systems and processes
  • Conducts research and analysis, influences collaboration, makes recommendations, develop solutions, and may coordinate or lead projects
  • Interprets, creates, analyzes, communicates and presents reports and data supporting or influencing business decisions
  • May design, validate, and support new and existing tools, processes, programs and policies

  • Weekend and off-shift work is required for this position

Qualifications

Desired Skills:
  • 5-plus years of experience coordinating large release efforts
  • Expert knowledge of Service Management principles, with a focus on Change Management
  • Ability and desire to provide exceptional customer service
  • Ability to work independently and drive resolution on complex issues spanning multiple teams
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated adaptability in a dynamic work environment
  • Demonstrated learning agility and the desire for continuous growth inside and outside of current role
  • Expert knowledge with Microsoft Excel and SharePoint
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze data and create presentations for leadership or present to leadership
  • Demonstrated ability to develop schedules and communication for large scale releases to broad customer bases
  • Bachelor's Degree or greater with a focus on technology related field of study
  • Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle
  • Understanding of Product Management
