Growing company is seeking a Shipping Clerk! Send resume for immediate consideration!
Responsibilities:
1. Make daily shipments - both domestic and international shipments to various customers and repair
centers worldwide.
2. Must be able to pick material for daily shipments, pack material appropriately to prevent damages in
transit and to be cost effective.
3. Perform transactions in the system, generate packing slips, create Bill of Lading and Commercial
Invoices for shipments as required, and process system invoice transaction.
4. Work with the carriers (FedEx, UPS, and OHL etc.) and schedule pickups as required.
5. Track shipments and ensure that the material is delivered to the intended recipient.
6. Identify and utilize the appropriate carrier/service to minimize transportation cost.
7. Follow 5S methodology and keep receiving are clean and clutter free.
8. Must be willing to support other functional areas like Receiving, Stockroom, etc. and willing to be
cross-trained.
9. Responsible for maintaining clean and organized work area for safety.
10. Comply with agency and corporate guidelines and procedures.
11. Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.
12. Compiles reports as requested by management.
Environment:
The work environment is that of a warehouse setting, with fluctuations in temperature throughout the year.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
Minimum Requirements:
A. Education: High School diploma or equuvalent required.
B. Experience: 5-7 years' experience in Srhipping / Receiving and Stockroom. Working
knowledge of any ERP (Oracle, SAP, MAPICS etc.) and familiarity to perform inventory
transactions accurately in the system.

KNOWLEDGE
Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and MS Word. Must have the ability to run
reports from the system and provide a summary to the management on a daily basis.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Must be able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing. Must be able to read and
understand customer specifications and be able to execute per the specifications.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to apply concepts of basic mathematics.
