- Job Title: Accounting Analyst
- Location: Bolingbrook, IL 60440
- Duration: 3+ Months Contract (with possible extension depending on client need and performance)
- Assist in the month-end close process and perform general ledger maintenance throughout the month
- Analysis of system feeds
- Perform legal entity reconciliations
- Perform general ledger maintenance in both legacy and Oracle systems
- Reconciliation of data between the legacy and Oracle systems
- Account reconciliations
- Journal entries
- Co-ordinate error suspense process
- Strong systems skills
- Advanced Excel and Access knowledge
- Verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to analyze and synthesize data
- University Degree in Accounting Accounting designation or working towards accounting designation EXPERIENCE:
- 3+ years in accounting position Experience with month-end close process Account reconciliations and intermediate-level accounting entries.
- Must be willing to work from the office with limited staff in office.
- Will be requested to do a variety of tasks including but not limited to: keying invoices, managing check runs, working with the offshore AP team.
- Must be willing to take on additional accounting and clerical tasks as needed, data entry, entry level tasks as asked.
