Description If you love Human Resources and you're looking for an exciting, new Generalist opportunity, Robert Half has the opportunity for you as a Human Resources Generalist. In this role, you will perform various HR duties, including recruiting, conducting new hire orientation, updating the employee handbook, and managing employee relations.What you get to do every dayDifferentiate local, state, and federal laws to current internal policies and procedures
Develop official internal documents such as offer letters, appointment letters, salary adjustments, updates to the employee handbook, leave of absences, and warning/termination letters
Create employee engagement plans, including budget approvals and management oversite
Maintain physical and digital files for employees and their documents, including benefits, attendance records, and annual reviews
Work with other members of the HR department to manage the hiring and onboarding process for new company employees
Develop onboarding plans and train newly hired employees on HR policies, internal procedures, and regulations
Evaluate employee performance, including appraising pay scales, assisting with annual reviews, and coordinating disciplinary action (including terminations if necessary)
Accountable for completing various tasks to support the daily operations of the HR department
Design templates for HR documents, including the Employee Handbook
Engage with other teams, including with upper management, employees, and third-party vendors
Develop a recruitment plan according to operational and business projections
Employee relations, involving engaging employees and coordinating sensitive conversations Requirements - You should be highly professional; able to use good judgment and maintain a high level of confidentiality and sensitivity
Full cycle recruiting experience
Prior HR experience in a Generalist capacity
B.A. or B.S. degree preferred, preferably with a Human Resources or Psychology emphasis
Proficient with office computer applications and software, as well as social media platforms
Desire to thrive in scenarios of team-based work or independent tasks, always looking to learn more and take initiative on a number of different projects and tasks
Excellent written and verbal business skills
Experience using Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
Prior experience coordinating and implementing Open Enrollment is a plus
Strong understanding local, state and federal laws
