16521BRRequisition ID:16521BRDuties & Responsibilities:Derive hardware requirements and implementation plans/topologies from higher level product and system requirements. Duties include: circuit design, planning, simulation, and design of margin analysis; schematic capture, PCB planning and review; circuit development including on-board power supply design, power regulation, control loops, magnetics, filters, and high-speed circuits and signals. Coordinate efforts across analog, digital, software and mechanical departments. Assist with design verification testing and data collection for proof of design goals. Work with Functional Managers and Program Managers to define scope of assigned work and estimate effort. Work alongside PCB designers to implement complex high layer count printed circuit boards. Document and resolve hardware design defects which are discovered during the validation phase of the design process, as well as create or modify engineering documentation of designs to assist new product introduction personnel or new hire engineers. Maintain BOM structure and authorize ECOs for designs within Oracle Agile database.Position located in Buffalo Grove, IL.Employment Category:Regular Full TimeShift:1stPosition Subject to ITAR/ FOUO controls:NoBasic Qualifications, Experience, Skills & Education Required:Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field and three years of work experience in the job offered or related field of ATE product development or validation.Must have at least three years of experience maintaining, debugging, and developing applications on ATE platforms common in the industry. Must have at least three years of experience working with design & simulation tools, such as Mentor Graphics and PSpice. Must have at least three years of experience with circuit and system characterization, data collection and analysis. Must have at least three years of data collection and processing experience with computers. Must have at least three years of experience using basic programming skills in C/C. Must have at least three years of experience using lab equipment, such as: DMM’s, High Speed Oscilloscopes, waveform generators, Spectrum / Network Analyzers. Must have at least one year of experience with analog circuit design and implementation of these circuits on printed circuit boards. Must have at least one year of experience working with transmission lines and signal fidelity.
