Billing and Payroll Clerk

DescriptionA company in the Calumet City area is looking for a Billing and Payroll Clerk. Responsibilities include: Prepare and submit billing records for services; Reconcile billing records to ensure timely receivables and minimal doubtful accounts; Follow up with vendors on unpaid bills/denials; Assist team members with resolving rejected claims; Review all remittance and make sure they have flowed properly from payor, and are recorded properly in our records, research and resolve issues as needed; Process billing and prepare tracking for DOA P400 Rejects (MCO); Respond to and resolve payroll related inquiries from field staff.
