Our company is looking for a maintenance technician that would be a part of a team responsible for maintaining multiple apartment complexes in the Champaign/Urbana area.
Responsibilities (not limited to):
1. Create a safe work environment and follow practices set forth by OSHA programs, safety programs, policies and procedures.
2. Complete work orders in a timely matter and report to Community Manager with any outstanding issues.
3. Participate in an on-call rotation with the maintenance team and assist with student turnover process.
4. Assist with inspections of the property and make sure certain standards are achieved.
5. Keep maintenance area neat and organized at all times.
6. Additional compensation if HVAC certified.
Qualifications:
3-5 years of maintenance experience preference given in student housing.
Must have the ability to lift up to 75lbs.
High School Diploma or GED
8-12 Hour Standing Shifts
Ability to work rotating on-call/weekends
