AutoCAD DrafterKelly Engineering Resources has an outstanding contract to hire opportunity for a Drafter with proficiency in AutoCAD. This role is with a growing manufacturer of construction and building support systems. These systems have structural and mechanical details and are installed in active construction sites. Due to the nature of this business, our client will consider experience in mechanical, structural, architectural or construction drafting.Essential Responsibilities of the AutoCAD Drafter:
Utilize AutoCAD 18 to draft, detail or design shop and construction drawings of building support systems.
Create material lists and BOMs
Works with sales to develop drawings for proposals.
Modify drawings as project progresses
Create final drawings and material lists for shipments to site.
Ensure work is designed using stock items and conforms to customer contract.
Qualifications of the Successful AutoCAD Drafter
Proficient in AutoCAD (v 18 a plus), Excel, Word and MS Office
Experience in either: Structural, Civil, Mechanical, Architectural or Construction Engineering
Associate or Engineering Degree a plus.
