Position: Reporting to the CFO, the Controller will be the leader responsible the financial accounting, month end close and internal controls processes. This is a hands-on role that will manage a team of 5 direct reports RequirementsBachelor's degree in Accounting5-7 years of relevant experience, including supervisory experienceExperience in manufacturing, wholesaling and/or consumer goods industry with strong understanding of inventory costingExcellent communication skills and ability to build strong relationships across all levels of the organizationSolid understanding of GAAP and internal controls; CPA a plusRobust experience with ERP systemsAbility to occasionally travel to manufacturing plant Responsibilities include:Lead monthly/quarterly/annual close, producing GAAP-compliant financialsPreparation of management reports, budget variance analysis, journal entries, accruals,account reconciliations, review of team members' work and other ad hoc projectsInventory cost analysis, reconciliation and monthly journal entriesManage and develop 5 direct reports responsible for all accounting operations including A/R,A/P, G/L accountingImprove and maintain a strong internal controls environment over all financial transactions About Stefanini Group The Stefanini Group is a global provider of offshore, onshore and near shore outsourcing, IT digital consulting, systems integration, application and strategic staffing services to Fortune 1000 enterprises around the world.
