Project-Based Opportunity: IL Sales Tax (ST-1) Filing & Audit Support
We’re seeking a project-based contractor with proven experience in Illinois ST-1 sales tax filings and sales tax audit preparation. This is a short-term engagement with potential for future collaboration based on performance and fit.
Ideal Candidate:
Has hands-on experience filing Illinois ST-1 returns
Understands IDOR audit procedures, common triggers, and documentation requirements
Can work independently and meet deadlines with minimal oversight
Is able to provide verifiable proof of experience—such as redacted filings, client references, or a summary of past projects
Please Note:
We value transparency and accuracy. Applicants must demonstrate real-world experience with Illinois sales tax filings. General tax prep or multi-state claims without IL-specific examples will not be considered.
