Senior Internal Auditor/b>Position Overview:

Reporting to the Senior Manager of Internal Audit you will work with a team of 5 at The Cheesecake Factory support center in Calabasas Hills, CA. As the Senior Internal Auditor, you will play an integral part in all aspects of the SOX compliance process for a global $2.5 billion publicly traded company with 290 full-service restaurants and more than 46,000 total staff members.You'll thrive in this position if you are:

Perform annual SOX planning, business process walk-throughs, and periodic controls testing to evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of key internal controls over financial reporting.
Manage, track, and facilitate the successful remediation of all control deficiencies.
Prepare control deficiency aggregation analysis and reporting to senior management.
Develop strong professional relationships with external auditors that will involve coordinating walk-throughs and timing of testing as well as providing the auditors with direct assistance in specific areas.
As you progress, assume ownership of the SOX compliance function.
Manage AuditBoard, Internal Audit’s Compliance Management Software.
Effectively plan and perform Operational audits and assist in special projects.Qualifications:What we require:
Someone who is working towards CPA, CIA, or CISA designation.
2 plus years of audit/internal audit experience.
2 plus years of hands-on SOX experience.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.What we prefer:
Public audit experience at a Big 4 or large regional firm.
Working knowledge of auditing automated SOX controls including ITGC’s.Benefits:
