Job Title: Area Manager (nights) Position starts at 4:00pm
Summary:
Train and supervise the janitors at your jobsite to ensure cleaning is completed and meets or exceeds quality and health standards. Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms and other work areas so that health standards are met.
Essential Duties
Train and supervise janitors at work site. Manage and employee relations or performance issues quickly and appropriately; report to management or HR. Complete payroll documents and submit prior to 9am on Payroll Monday Inspect the jobsite regularly to identify any quality concerns or project work needed. Communicate the need for any special project work to management. Respond quickly and appropriately to all customer concerns or complaints Enforce all safety policies and procedures; immediately report accidents Empty wastebaskets and take other trash to disposal areas. Clean floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing or vacuuming. Sanitize restrooms and fill dispensers. Clean and polish furniture and fixtures. Clean glass partitions, window blinds and mirrors. Dust furniture, walls, machines and equipment. Mix cleaning solutions according to specifications. Use floor cleaning equipment as needed (i.e. buffer, walk behind, spot-carpet cleaner). Medical facilities Sanitize Exam Rooms Dispose of Biohazard trash Water plants as directed.
Supervisory Responsibilities Supervise the janitors assigned to your account.

Job Specifications 1 year of supervisory experience preferred. Excellent attention to detail
Ability to show judgment and to work independently High integrity required
Language Skills Must be able Bi-lingual English/Spanish

Physical Demands Standing; Kneeling; Walking; Bending/Stooping; Reaching; Pushing; Pulling; Climbing ladders/stairs; Lift or carry 40 lbs.
