Our industry-leading manufacturing company is searching for an Operational Excellence Leader to leadthe operational excellence function globally. In this Director-level position, you will beresponsible for defining, implementing, and optimizing the operational excellence program for the business, in order to ensurethat it delivers tangible and measurable value in terms of improved quality, service levels and lower supply costs through waste elimination and improved process capabilities. This role is critical to achieving the company's long-term strategic vision for itssupply chain operations and to moving it towards World Class Manufacturing (WCM) performance.

Essential Responsibilities:

Define the vision and associated roadmap for implementation of OPEX, including the detailed operating blue print for the business, to encompass definition of the suite of Lean tools & techniques that are most appropriate for the company, along withall supporting training material and processes that will be required to embed this blueprint into the company environment.

Lead the implementation ofthe OPEX program, and implement a mechanism/process to measure progress of the OPEX program. Lead thedevelopment and implementation of plans with the other Supply Chain leaders, to drive the OPEX initiative towards maturity. This should include programs that recognize and reward strong performance and good progress towards that goal.

Define and implement across the global Supply Chain network a standardized Performance Management System to be used in all facilities for ensuring thatsite performance is continually optimized and the critical performance parameters addressed.

In conjunction with Supply Chain leadership, define critical breakthrough projects that will “change the game” operationally, and take the lead with the OPEX team to get these executed.

Support the broader business requirements, such as major problem-solving needs, quality concerns etc.,as required. Become the “go to” expertfor problem resolution.

Essential Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a similar field. A Bachelor's degree isrequired.

Ten (10) or more years of Lean Manufacturing experience, with experience managing in a global environment, ideally leading the OPEX transformation program.

Master Black Belt and additional Lean and Quality certifications are required.

Management skills - you will directly manage a team of 3 Lean professionals, but will have matrixed responsibility across the 15-site global network for the OPEX program.

Ability to lead change, influence leadership, staff, and plant management, and become the company champion and Subject Matter Expertfor Lean principles.
