Description: Infrastructure EngineerThe Mac and Mobile Engineer role serves as frontline technical and application support for all employees, supports all functions and components of the application and hardware infrastructure, and provides application function modification support, research, and training with a focus on customer service.What you will be doing:Provide expertise and support in a macOS, iOS, iPadOS, TVOS, Android, Windows Server, and Active Directory environmentManage a Jamf Pro Windows server environment evolving to a possible cloud environmentManage macOS setup and deployment for new employees using standard hardware and thin imaging/zero-touch techniquesAdminister device policy and configurations using Jamf Pro and/or Microsoft IntuneSupport applications such as Microsoft Office 365, Teams, Adobe Creative Cloud, Cisco AnyConnect, Cisco Jabber, Cisco Webex, NoMAD/Jamf Connect, and ZoomServe as an escalation point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance over the phone, in person or via a remote support applicationTake ownership of assigned incidents and follow through to satisfactory outcome for the customerCommunicate technical information effectively to non-technical employeesIn the event of an outage, assists with the execution of disaster recovery planCommunicate and problem-solve daily with teammates, clients, vendors, and other stakeholdersOther skills related to building a career in information technologyQualificationsThe education and experience we’re looking for:Bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science, or a related study, or equivalent working experienceA minimum of five years’ experience working in a desktop support role supporting macOS, iOS/iPadOS, Android, TVOS, and Office 365, and Adobe applicationsA minimum of three years of experience with maintaining and evolving a Jamf Pro environment (on-premise and Jamf Cloud)At minimum, a baseline understanding of Microsoft IntuneCertification with Apple, Jamf, or equivalent is a plusExperience working with Venafi, or other certificate management components as related to macOS managementExperience working within a strict security framework (CIS or similar) and deploying security agents to endpointsExperience moving an organization from administrative privilege to standard user rightsExperience operating within a ticketing system to track incidents and status of assigned tasks; ServiceNow experience is a plusExperience performing test and production changes within a change management framework at a medium to large enterpriseWhat skills you should have:In-depth technical knowledge of macOS and Jamf ProPassionate in providing excellent customer service with a commitment to qualityOutstanding verbal and written communication skillsDetail-oriented mindset while consistently focusing on the big pictureGood business judgment and strong analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong collaboration and teamwork skills and ability to communicate effectively with technical and management level professionalsThis position may require participation in an on-call rotation for after-hours supportThis position may require overnight travel within the United States, up to 25%Ability to show ownership of your work, take on challenges and acknowledge growth opportunities, and demonstrate patience when learning new processesCourtesy, respect, and thoughtfulness in teaming with colleagues and other stakeholdersThe Client Specifics:Device hardening for onshore and offshore uses case, with a focus on the iOS/iPadOS development use case1. Implementing Jamf Connect with AzureAD integration (using ADFS) for multifactor authentication, and the right knowledge to work with Information Security and Active Directory teams to get this across the finish line2. Removal of administrative rights from the environment3. Acceleration of zero-touch provisioning and enrollment customization4. Managed AppleIDs with Apple Business Manager5. Integration of Microsoft Intune for conditional access policies6.
