Description:

The Mac and Mobile SysAdmin role serves as frontline technical and application support for all employees, supports all functions and components of the application and hardware infrastructure, and provides application function modification support, research, and training with a focus on customer service.What you will be doing:• Provide expertise and support in a macOS, iOS, iPadOS, TVOS, Android, Windows Server, and Active Directory environment• Manage a Jamf Pro Windows server environment evolving to a possible cloud environment• Manage macOS setup and deployment for new employees using standard hardware and thin imaging/zero-touch techniques• Administer device policy and configurations using Jamf Pro and/or Microsoft Intune• Support applications such as Microsoft Office 365, Teams, Adobe Creative Cloud, Cisco AnyConnect, Cisco Jabber, Cisco Webex, NoMAD/Jamf Connect, and Zoom• Serve as an escalation point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance over the phone, in person or via a remote support application• Take ownership of assigned incidents and follow through to satisfactory outcome for the customer• Communicate technical information effectively to non-technical employees• In the event of an outage, assists with the execution of disaster recovery plan• Communicate and problem-solve daily with teammates, clients, vendors, and other stakeholders• Other skills related to building a career in information technologyQualificationsThe education and experience we’re looking for:• Bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science, or a related study, or equivalent working experience• A minimum of five years’ experience working in a desktop support role supporting macOS, iOS/iPadOS, Android, TVOS, and Office 365, and Adobe applications• A minimum of three years of experience with maintaining and evolving a Jamf Pro environment (on-premise and Jamf Cloud)• At minimum, a baseline understanding of Microsoft Intune• Certification with Apple, Jamf, or equivalent is a plus• Experience working with Venafi, or other certificate management components as related to macOS management• Experience working within a strict security framework (CIS or similar) and deploying security agents to endpoints• Experience moving an organization from administrative privilege to standard user rights• Experience operating within a ticketing system to track incidents and status of assigned tasks; ServiceNow experience is a plus• Experience performing test and production changes within a change management framework at a medium to large enterpriseWhat skills you should have:• In-depth technical knowledge of macOS and Jamf Pro• Passionate in providing excellent customer service with a commitment to quality• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills• Detail-oriented mindset while consistently focusing on the big picture• Good business judgment and strong analytical and problem-solving skills• Strong collaboration and teamwork skills and ability to communicate effectively with technical and management level professionals• This position may require participation in an on-call rotation for after-hours support• This position may require overnight travel within the United States, up to 25%• Ability to show ownership of your work, take on challenges and acknowledge growth opportunities, and demonstrate patience when learning new processes• Courtesy, respect, and thoughtfulness in teaming with colleagues and other stakeholdersSpecific Skills:Support and Maintain Mac Mini environment at data centerPackage and distribute development packages for iOS DevelopersTake level 2/3 incidents for macOS queueSupport rollout of Big Sur/MontereySupport change to login experience with Jamf ConnectSupport removal of administrative rights to enterpriseSupport change to conditional access affecting user experience VIVA USA is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to maintaining a professional working environment that is free from discrimination and unlawful harassment.
