We are growing and expanding our Bridge International School that serves children ages infant through 6th grade in a diverse Chicago northside lakefront community location. Working with a largely immigrant population, our vanguard approach to education is focused on Cross-Cultural Learning designed to benefit those with Euro-centric and non-Euro-centric family traditions.
Several immediate full-time and part-time teaching positions available at various levels. If you have completed course work related to Early Childhood Education (ECE) or experience working with children 0 through 12 years of age. Tell us about yourself. EEO. Education BA preferred or 60 Semester Hours with minimum 6 Hours ECE course work or requisite experience.
Teachers with 1 year of child development experience and 30 hours of credits from an accredited college or university with 6 semester hours related to school-age child care, child development, from birth to age 6, will also be considered.
Those Interested and able to work with infants to 3-year-olds are very desirable.
Must have or be willing to obtain Gateways ECE training as needed. At least Level 1 but Level 5 is a plus.
All of our teaching positions require a high level of reliability and ability to work during public school vacations (other than seven major holidays). Must be willing to read, digest, implement and adhere to DFSS, ISBE, DCFS, ExceleRate Illinois, and SEAC standards.
